...wardrobe wednesday!

Hi everybody,
it is wardrobe wednesday and another day to try what I could wear today.
The only thing I know: it has to be in mud or brown!!

This how I started - but although I took this great fanny pack, it doesn´t feel that perfect - maybe because it isn´t brown or mud :-) lol - don´t know, but this is what I tried.

Love that little linen dress

I´m a great fan of long vests

I´m not sure, if I should keep this vest. It is nice, but really hard to combine.

Love this short vest too!

This is what I took! The wool coat is so comfortable and ok to be outside and I love that short gold/brown shirt. What do you think?

Happy Helloween folks!

...Wintertime

Hi everybody,
we got it! It is officially winter-time. Sunday at 3 in the morning we had to move the clocks back one hour! YEEHA, ONE HOUR MORE SLEEP!
Ha!
Thats what you think! Baby-Lucy still didn´t get it. Instead of sleeping one hour longer, she gets up at her normal time, but now it is not 8 it is 7 in the morning!!! 7:00 !!!!!!!!!!! Nobody want´s to get up at seven, without hustling to work or something - grrrr. that is soooooooooo mean!
I hope she learns it the next days :-)

The last weekend was a working one for me, so nothing really thrilling happend. My mum was here, because she baby-sitted our girls. Hubs was in Kassel, so nobody home :-)
I love the times my mum is here, it feels so absolutely family! It also does, when my sister is visiting us, what she will next weekend for a whole week or so - jippiejaje!

Oh I just forgott to give you my YOLO!
I finished Baby-Lucys costume. She likes to go as a ghost - withour a crown or wings or glitter..... I told you about that! :-)
Sorry for that Baby-Lucy Helloween- change, I could resist PicMonkey :-)

So what do you think about the dress? It is so simple, I took a shirt and painted the friendly-ghost-face on it, after that a sewed some lace at the end, a little pettycoat under it. Thats it!
I also made a great black and white Tutu. But guess what .......... I got a NO! So the little H&M one :-)
I hope you´ll have a great tuesday!

...thankful...

a punk, a pumpkin and a peanut
Hi everybody, I hope you had a wonderful thursday yet! I´m new to this link-party, but I think this is a great idea to be thankful and focus on it, at least once a week! This week I´m thankful for the uniqueness of Baby-Lucy! Well you know Teeny-Lisa has her own "little" personality too, but especially Lucy shows me her uniqueness in this days.
It is hard to handle for me, because as you can imagine, she shows it in saying NO, everytime there is a moment for that!
But it is so great though!!!
One day, I went to a great toy store with her looking for a helloween costume. I thought of a princess, fairy what ever dress. With a little crown, wings and all that, you know what I mean. I showed her a small selection of four dresses in pink, violett and red. She looked at them and said " oh mum, sooooooo cute! sooooo pretty!" I askedher, if she want to have one of these....NO!
She liked the pirate dress (which was way to expensive- lol)
I showed her yesterday in a nice little gift shop some crowns.... NO!
Fairy-wings......NO!
She likes the Bob the Builder outfits, and the simple ghost dress...... she is unique and not a mainstream girl :-)
Another little laugher was last week, when I asked her to use her potty........ I didn´t get a simple NO, I also got an explanation...... "NO mum, not yet! - new swaddling bands please!" "Amelie does, Elien does (neighbour gils in her age), but I don´t! Not yet!"
Such a laugher!!!

So thank you! Thank you for that little one, which that great self-confidence, and please let her be like this for her whole life!

...Styling on wednesday and the house

Hi everybody,
I found a nwe linking up-party " wardrobe wednesday" so I post my todays outfit.
Hey, remember, I´m not a model and there is still a little baby-belly under my shirts :-) Ok, after two years you could have lost it, but I did that in stages. only two kilogrammes per year - lol!!!
No kidding, it is not easy to lose them - they are attached to me :-)

This is a kind of chaotic combination of my favourite things, even Baby -Lucy :-)

Ah, nearly missed to post pictures of our house on the outside, I just promised that, right? So Baby-Lucy and I are in our garden ( behind the house - hahaha) As you can see it is quite long and we have a swing and a slide in it. In the little hoven we have our summer-tires and some playing stuff vor Baby-Lucy.
our garden with the sandbox, you can see our livin-room and in he first floor our working space and Baby-Lucys room.

Standing on the terrace the garden is that long
Thsi is our entry, as you can see, i´m absolutely in wind chimes! I love them, and happily my neighbours do so too!

Our house, a typical german row house.

hope you have a nice thursday!

Loving lately: BOOTS

Hello,
it it Tuesday and so Loving Lately time.
This week I bought my new boots. I love them so much. You can wear them with pants but also with a skirt and they even look great with leggins :-) although leggins are no pants - right :-)
They are in a kind of biker-boot style and a used look, but that is what I love!

Just imagine this boots combined with:

a bit casual

Lady-Outdoor
Love style-crashing
also a kind of style-hopping but great

that is something more familiar to me
What do you think? Like or dislike??

The day before I bought an other pair of boots too. But a number to big. It was one of those days you cant even find something to wear at work, and after looking and searching an hour or two, you have something, but no boots fitting. grrrrrrr.
So I went to one of those low-price-shoe-shops here and bought these boots. I couldn´t find some in my size, but I liked them and with inserted soles they fit!
A bit too cowboyish for me, but that is ok!

So my new boots, are what I liked lately!
Wish you a nice day!

...Oldtimer flea market...YOLO!

Hi folks,

yesterday was really my YOLO Day!!
I was with my family and a good friend of us on an Oldtimer flea market. What a show! My girls love cars, especially the whole family is in old cars. Mustangs, Chevrolet and of course vanagons T1 to T3 are our favourites!!! And there were a lot of every cars we love!
I made some pictures for you.
Baby-Lucy wanted to climb in every car she liked ( a lot and a lot) and Teeny-Lisa was always telling us which car she likes to buy, if she has a driving-license ( in about 20 years :-) ....)

These are the cars we liked the most:

arent they beautyful?!!!
But they hadn´t just cars there where also some other great vehicles :-)

As I said, a great show! Nice people, nice cars and nice stuff.... Jep right, nice STUFF... I found an old stable-window which I can renovate, to hang it on our living room wall. I´m looking forward of starting the renovation part!!

Have a YOLO Monday everybody!

... bible challenge...

Hi!
This is the first day of my today started bible-challenge with Joyce Meyer.
I love her speaches and I think it should be easier to watsch her in german TV, but we have to use the internet.
On Youversion.com I found my own bible-reading plan just for a year. You also can use shorter plans, or some to special themes, what ever it is great to have a little help reading THE WORD.

Week 1: John 14:23 - teaches us, that you can lose GOD very quick and it is hard to find him back. When ever you think he is with you, just without acting like he wants us to do you harm him and push him away.  So try everyday to act like He wants us, to be in his favor and love!

Prayer:
Thank you Father, for living in my heart. I need your presents today. Help my, blessing you in my mind and my words and help my beeing a mercy for the people having around me!

... living-room-autumn-picture

Hi folks, nice to know you on my blog again!
I know it is a bit goofy, but I´m really happy to have 10 followers and hope there will be more soon! Thank you!

Today is thursday night and I just roamed through my living room looking at my new autumn picture and remembered, that I havent give you a tutorial yet! So, here it is!

This picture is a collage of many different materials and technics.
I used:
- an old picture with a frame
- autumn-coloured leaves
- a broken mirror
- glue
- wool
- tessellation-stones in autumn colours
- oil painting
- acrylic painting

First:
I glued gift wrap on the old picture, because there was a nice square-pattern on it. I used that squares to glue the wool on the pattern lines to get a 3D effect.

After that there comes a long time waiting to get the glue completely dry.
And than the fun part starts!
Painting!
I used the squares on the left part of my picture to make a mix of different autumn colours. Mainly in red-shades because that is the dominate colour in my living room.
On the right side I wanted something natural, so I decided to take a tree, which is a nice theme in autumn.
The squares I painted in oil, and the tree-side is completely in acrylic.

After the painting comes the
tessellation-collage part.
To give the tree a more 3D effect I used leaves, tessellation-stones and splinters of a broken mirror. I glued them on the painting. The splinters I painted with brown acrylics and just a minute before beeing dried, I took a bit of the acrylics from the plinters to see a bit of the shine of the mirror through the collour, which makes a cool effect if the sunlight shines on the picture.
Because my frame was in a icky silver, I painted it brown- burned umbra, which is really dark!

I did not use a finish or something because I didn´t want to have a kind of shine on the picture except the ones of the mirror-splinters.

I hope I described it well and you send me some photos of yours!
Have fun!

...a clock, a radio and sunglasses

Hi folks,
I´m back again, it is monday and WE DID IT! My lovely Teeny-Lisa and I made a makeover for my blog. Now it is more me! The flowers and the wonderful juggling mum, that is definitely me!

What do you think about it?

WE DID IT!!

Oh Yes, we made the makeover by ourselves

Ok, now, let me tell you, what is it about the title?

The clock
it is a fake but I love it, and it looks so gorgeous in our living room. My Teeny-Lisa found it on the peddlers market she went on sunday with Hubby and Baby-Lucy. It was only 7€ which is a great small price!

The radio
one of our old ladys at work took her way to GOD on Friday night. She was a nice lady and reached her 98th birthday a month ago! She wanted to get her 100 but sadly she had a pneumonia a few weeks ago, and since that she could come back to her old conditions. I liked her because she was so strong and a bit harsh too. But you can´t be a landlady without a man on your side and be a softy!!
On Sunday her daughter came and cleared a part of her monthers room and because she knows that I love old-styled things, she gave my the phono-radio-cd-mc player as a gift! WOW!
Bless you Mrs Sachau and give a hug to our great father!

The sunglasses
ok, look at the picture above. I bought new sunglasses, which had absolutely no sense, because, without my glasses I´m blind like a mole! Really I am!! And this sunglasses are without a cut, so no chance for me to see even my hand on the end of my arm *lol*
But they are pink and huge and I can wear them in front of my normal glasses. Can you see that on the picture? :-)
So tell me a freak but I LOVE THEM!

YOLO today - My living room is getting more and more a nice, comfortable, warm, cozy place to spend your day in!
And I finished my painting!! Look at this!

.... an other week is gone :-)

Friday and a lot of things to show!
Here are my Fab.Fives for this week:

This is my living room. Lovely corner isn´t it?? The old sewing machine is a real antique one. It is from my grand grand mother and I love it! Down in the chest are the toys from Baby Lucy - a very stylish solution I think.

This is the decoration corner on my dining table, which is really huge. I made a little agangement of fall-items. I love the golden deer and the owl!

This is the old IKEA armchair I got from the parents of our previous tenants. I renovated it with the red fabric and the ornaments on it. Now it fits perfectly in our living room!

I bought this new necklace for 50 Euro-Cents. Now in october it is nice to celebrate also the Octoberfest a bit. So this is my homage to it :-)

I told you yesterday, that i´m a brunette now. Ok, the picture doesn´t show it that good, but I am! There is also a little red left, but it is too borring just a plain brown! I just found out what in a horrible condition my hair was just with the red/orange/pink stuff in it! I really have to take more care of my hair!

That was my week, and tomorrow starts a new weekend of working with my crazy people, telling my the same storry for the 10th time now, but hey that doesn´t matter, the storrys are fun!

I wish you a nice weekend!
