Today's Topic

Hi everybody,
this is me...back from a trip to "everybody in my family has a cold"-Land :-) 
Do you know that:  The kids are sick, they have a cold and don´t feel good, you know that there is also one for you, but you are a momma, so you don´t have the time to lay in bed watching tv and sneeze, after some days (very often just after the kids beeing healthy again) your hubs finds out that there is a scraping in his throat...aaaand..... sneeze! Dad is sick! No time for Momma beeing down.
After a week or so, the kids decided to start again.
Ok folks, this is our THIRD round!!!!
And now, to have more adventure, Baby-Lucy has also an otitis media, which must be the horror!

(I still have my first cold, and no time to let it go :-) Maybe in two weeks or so lol)

So a lot of reasons for me to think about:

 If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

lol

I´m not a great fan of heat, so it wouldn´t be somewhere in the South Seas...

I would love to go to the USA. I´m not that sure where I´d like to go, but these are the things I´d like to see, so where in the US could this be??

The funniest thing is, that I don´t know why, but I love America! Just don´t understand me wrong, i´m also in Germany and it is nice to live here, but I feel a presure to be in the US. I also love to be in Australia, where my mum came from, but I really hate spiders... so..... 

To be serious I can´t understand my obsession to America, but it is in me and there will be the day I move there - for sure!

Tribute to Granny!

He everybody,
who read my blog some weeks ago, knows that my Granny was very sick and that I wasn´t sure to have her for a long time still.
But she got ok and went home again.
Now today my beloved Granny died!
It was a peaceful fading away! She just said that she doesn´t feel that well today and that my mum should come and a doctor and that she just want to close her eyes a little. When my mum arrived she just took a look at her smiling, closed her eyes and stopped breathing.
It is sad, so sad and I cried a lot, as you can imagine... and there will be a lot of hard sorrow the next days... but with this post I´d like to show you a kind of tribute to my Granny!

Todays topic: describe your perfect day!

You know, I´m a family girl!
I´m not sure if you have an idea how my family works, it is a bit like a classic-sicilian-clan. We are very close and now matter where we live we stick together. There is no birthday, X-Mas, or what ever you can think of a holiday, the family would never miss a reunion! We don´t care about distances or money - if there is something important to celebrate we do it together!
Especially the women in my family are very very very close! We call each other once a week, we try to meet very often....
My Granny was the oldest of the women in my family. She was so proud of having a daughter, a son, five grand-children and five grand grand children.
So, my perfect day would have been a family meeting ( Christmas I love the most) with ALL family members!!
My Granny, her five brothers and sisters with their partners, my mum, my day, my uncle, my aunt, my cousin with her family (two kids), my cousin back from her world-trip, my cousin with his new wife, the cousin of my mother with her three boys and their girls, my sister with family and me and my family.
You know my Granny just in the middle of all of us - like the godmother :-)

We had never a family meeting with all of us, there was a huge argument between my uncles family and mine for years, and we decided to find peace just a month ago. ( Sadly my uncle and my aunt died a few years ago.)

So this would be my perfect day - with all of my family a big Christmas Party!



That is easy, I love lately and for ever My Granny! And I hope, that my kids will understand later how wonderful this woman was. Maybe not the best mother, maybe not a wise wife, and I´m sure that the wasn´t perfect...... but she was the most gracious Granny I could think of. She was one of the support columns of my childhood and youth and it is a bless to know, that she was in my life with all her mistakes and ways of making me crazy!And all her love!

praying sunday

Hi everybody!
It is sunday again and time for my challenge.
Today I got a wonderfull prayer which is a perfect match to my currant situation.
You know, becomming a teacher, don´t know if it will be in february or august, finding a nice day nanny for Baby-Lucy ....

Dear God, no matter what happend in my past, please help me to look up from where I am now. Thank you my Lord, that you are willing to give me a new beggining. I will go on brave and follow the mission you gave me!

Maybe it wouldn´t be easy. Maybe it will take some time, but I trust you, I believe in your word!

Hi everybody,
I have a cold - and I realy don´t want to be a man, BUT I DO FEEL SOOOOO BAD!
It is not the cold itself that gets on my nerves, it is the sneezing I hate so much - you know I´m one of these sneeze-eight times-per second-woman, that is such a crap! That I even don´t have a concussion is just like a wonder!!!!

So today is thursday and it is "be thankful" time!
So can be sure there are a lot of things I´m thankful to, but these days I´m thankful to this:

Without these little helpers, I think my nose would be like a bomb and my cough would sound like an old truck-engine!
So who ever, whenever invented these wonderful things, is just my hero for today and I suspect, for the few days!


But I´m also thankful to something completely different! I had an interview yesterday at the department of education to become a teacher by a career change. And they liked me!!! Today I got the answer that they want to start me in february or august! They just have to find me the right school, because first I need to be a student teacher.
I´M SO HAPPY!!!

Twilight/ Breaking Dawn 2 Style

Hi everybody,
for the ones that thought my Breaking-Dawn- obsession will stop the next days - sorry guys you´re wrong! :-)
Today my teeny-Lisa present me with a new nail polish and it is from the new essence - breaking dawn part2 series. "Alice had a vision-again" a kind of dark-violet, it sparkles and I love it!
The whole series is wonderful, what do you think?

...gold and lace

Hi everybody,
it is monday again and I found a great new favourite for my outfits. A long sleeve, white shirt with lace. It is such a wonderfull and clever basic! Next to my skinny pants I never want to wear something else .-)

This weekend I combined it with to other basic short sleeve shirts, what do you think about my layering? :-) (Love to layer)

Friday I decidet that I really have to have a golden necklace, so down I went to made one by my own.
This is what comes out... so what do you think?

The vest is cool, hey? I rescued it, hubs wanted to put it in trash - it was his :-)

I´m so in brown - love every combination with it!So you see, all my three favourites by now. My golden necklace, the lace shirt and my new bracelets..... ooooh and my skinnys :-) lol

the new bracelet... the white one was made by me, the other colourful on I bought at Ernstings family

see.... my necklace. It is made of three. A simple golden one, a golden one with white leather in it and a brown one.

Please help me, to see the good and positive things in life and to be thankful for them each day for the rest of my life!
 
This was a hard weekend of work and the next week will bring a lot of things that scares me, but you my God have the power to help me through. So let me see the good and help me passing the hard things!

wardrobe and smile...

Hello everybody!
Today is wednesday and I love to link up with wardrobe-wednesday and whatever whenever.

Today my style wasn´t that cool or something. It is quite cold here and we try to be a bit warm even in our house, without putting the heat up too high. So I weared my scarf inside too :-) This one is new and from my mum, I love it, mustard is one of my favourite winter colours!

And I wear skinny pants - ok that is not a big deal for most of you, but for me it is! Like you can see on my older posts I always wear jeans in that boyish shape. Two days ago I bought two skinny ones and I love them! You know sex and the citty, Miranda fits back in her skinny Jeans and found out, that she has legs, hips, a waist and a nice bum too - and imagine I have them too!!! That is so great! I even would wear them in bed, if this would be a bit silly :-)
So: what do you think??

Do you also think, that I do look a bit creepy on my pics? My oldest told my today that I shouldn´t laugh with showing my teeth so much. She founds out, that I do that on every Photo and she thinks that could be a bit funny........ hm... but that is my smile... in every smiling situation! A big- teeth showing smile..... what do you think? Too much? A bit more Lady-like?

Hey guys,

Loving lately is quite easy for me, there are two things I´m totally in these days...
1- My ombre hair
2- Twillight Breaking Dawn Part 2

1. Ombre Hair is a great way to get colour in your hair, just without colouring it in complete. I always wanted to know if I coukd wear blonde or a facette of it and it worked! now I can imagine of making it blonde in complete, but maybe I´m too pale for that?!!
This is my ombre hair ( I showed you one picture on friday, here are some more :-)

 2. Breaking Dawn Part2, I can´t wait to see it, such agreat story must have a great film! These days I´m going to see all the party before, today we started with part one - Twillight. I love the love story, but there is also so much humor in it! So little hints and looks that maks me cry laughing! I also started to read the book again today. Ok, you could say I´m too old to be in that so much, but hey.... you could be a Teeny with 33, you only have to remember paying your bills and feeding the kids :-)
I´m looking forward Bella to be a Vampire, sorry but i´m not very interested in Renessmee, I´m sure she will be a cute but I even don´t know how to write her name - lol

Ok, on Tuesday topics: One Million Dollars
Lauren asks what I would do with a million dollar, which means for me with a million Euros

1. First I would payback all my scholarship for Univerity.
2. I would pay back our credits we made in our past ( for two cars and that)
3. I would buy a farm somewhere my family, my mother, granny and my siter with family and my sister in law with familiy would like to life. There we start our dream projects. So my hubs needs money to have his own Vanagon-tuning-workshop, my sister in law and her hubs want to have a dog-training-school and a dog-hotel, Mumy wants to help all of us, so Granny does. My sister likes to have a Yoga-school for pregnants and Mother-Baby-Yoga lessons. I´d like to have a horse-farm. You know? With horses you can learn western-style on. With all of that projects there is a chance to have money in the future again :-)
4. We need to save for teh kids and our pension
5. if there is something left, we make vacations in USA, Australia and New Zealand
6. And I´d like to have a Vanagon T1, these sufer-busses you know?! Great!
So maybe I should also invest something to have enough money later and for all of my dreams :-)

Friday again!

Hi everybody,
this week was a kind of a mess and I would have a lot of things to be pissed of, BUT: As my bible challenge tells me every day, you have to watch your life and live your days, as GOD want´s us to do, so...... breathe and look to the great, wonderful and pleased things this week!

1. I found these at KIK,( a 1€ shop) - love the colours

2. ok, i didn´t found this, I made it by myselves and I love it!

Found this today at IKEA, and it was cheaper then usual.

Aren´t they cute??!! Also from KIK, and also 1 € only!

I found my new love for Ombre. Whisch was really hard to get in my dark coloured hair, but we did it and I like it very much!!!
