Friday and a new "Carries"

Yeehaaa it is friday again, another week is gone and it was a lot of work to do in our new house!
I finished the fairy-wall in Lucy-Babys room and its wonderful! Her room isn´t finished yet but she wants to visit it every day to see "Belle a Belle" its her name for Tinkerbelle. So cute to see her sitting in front of the wall between all the laminate stuff, that has to be put in her room on sunday, wondering about all the fairys and the flowers and all that. I´m so glad that she loves it!!
Since now, our working-place (you now, the computer - office place thing) is already finished, just my hubs desk isn´t in yet. The cellar is also nearly done. I told you, it was a lot of moving-work this week :-)
On sunday my mum and my friend-neighbour went to a crafting trade fair. It realy was my personal wonderland! Crafting stuff everywhere, so many wonderful and nice things to buy and all that for a special trade fair price! I bought over 92 pieces for jewelry making (pearls and that) for only 10€!!!! WOW

Ok, so now my HIGH FIVE FOR FRIDAY:

1. I bought these at the crafting trade fair and made new necklaces! Aren´t they nice?!

2. I had my groovy days this week :-)

Lucy-Babys wall, so much work but we love it!!!

I found this on Meredith´s Pinterest and we decided that our new crafting room has to be like this!

I found a great shower curtain at IKEA. Lovely colours to create a neat bathroom!

That was my week and now I will have a tough weekend of go working and go on moving in the late evening!

a new week- a new YOLO!

It is a new week and it´s a YOLO - because I have the time again to write a new post to you guys! I´m so sorry to haven´t wrote so long, but we´re in the middle of our new-house-renovations. And I started my new job (i told you about), so the whole family has to reorganize my absence every second weekend and every second wendnesdays and thursdays.

So much happened these days.... so..... GET THIS...!!!

TUTORIALS WILL FOLLOW! I made a family picture for our entry, a new necklace-holder, a key box and some fairy-deco on the Baby-Lucy room wall.

I found this Flashback Tuesday thing on whyyyjen blog and thought this could be fun!

Nine years ago I was on that kind of Rockabilly style phase :-) Stripes and black paired with flowers and red hair.... it is over :-)
On this photo a played Guitarre Hero with my sister and her Ex.... and I was such a good player of the base guitarre!!!

YOLO!!

HI EVERYBODY,
it is still Monday and I have to share my YOLO Monday things with you!

Today I had to bring my car into the garage because there is such a little mean lamp always blinking, telling me, that something is wrong with the engine. But it is the third time now my little froggy is in garage because of this lamp. I´m sure my car loves his lamp and the shining of it, but neither my hubs nor the garage guy trust me :-)
Ok, that is not that Yolo, but on the way home, with my Baby-Lucy playing in her buggy, I stopped at one of our knick-knack shops just to have a look and I found this!

I love the relaxing sound it makes. I should hang on our terrace behing our new house. Looking forward the first autumn-winds!!

So my Froggy Car brought my this wonderful thing I always looked for! YOLO!!!



There is an other YOLO for me. Friday I visited my Mum and found the complete season of Gilmore Girls in a nice freaky cover. It looks like the Lukes Diner menue!! Great! She got it from a friend moving back to US and wasn´t sure what to do with it. So I grabbed it :-)
And today I saw the first episode and was back home! Such a great feeling!! Me sitting on the sofa revel in memorys....
YOLO!!!

So much to do and ...

... so less time :-)
I just added a new page with my crafting, painting, creating projects. Have a look and see how "fast" realize my ideas - lol!!

Two great moments on a rainy day!

Today it rained cats and dogs, you can´t imagine how much water could come down just in one hour. It was enough to have a little lake on our terrace.....brrrr!

But that can´t be a reason not to go to Ikea, when you need some fabrics to make a new crafting projekt!
So I took my Lucy-Baby and we strolled through my second homeplace :-)IKEA!!!

I found what I was looking for , and so much more, and finished that successful shopping-trip with French fries for me and Baby-Lucy in the restaurant-kids-place. Watching her playing and eating her fries I got an idea - why should I make an other "Carries Dream" step just here at IKEA.
So I did, twice!

Translation: Thank you for the very clean tables and the good food!

I put this card on my tray and shoved it into the dishes-refund. Just a little wating and I heard " oh.... how nice!" YEEHAA! strike one!

Transaltion: Hello stranger. I think you are gorgeous!

 

As you can see, did I put my second card on the soap dispenser in the ladys bath. The same thing, after waiting a little, I heard " uuuuuuhhhhhh" in a very smooth - flattered way. YEEEEHAAA strike two!

I love the idea of sending strangers a nice message to make this one day a little bit better than a normal day!

Such a cool YOLO!!

I started my new Job on saturday. It is in a care facility for people (older than 40) who had an alcohol problem in their past. We try to bring them back into a normal life, so that they could live alone, but the most of them are not longer able to have a house hold - they got into a hoard and clutter syndome.
The realy sad thing is, that they damaged great parts of their brain, so the short-term memory doesn´t work that well, at most of them it seems as if they don´t have one anymore!
So, to work there is my new Job!!
It is quite easy, I have to talk with them, listen to their storys, remeber them to be honest and calm, to take a shower and so on.... And once a day there is a game-time, which I have to host. So we play outburst and memory and such things.

I just started, but I think I could love that job!

Saturday I went to Nübbel - where the "Huss an de Eider" is and on the parking area stood this lovely thing.

Ok, it is old, but it is soooooo freaky! I love it and in our new house it will be our TV-Table! A great style-break modern-new / old.
I was so excited! They wanted to trash it - I rescued that wonderful cupboard, I rescued it, before going to my helping-job - that must be predestination - lol!!!

IT IS SOOOO YOLO!

chasing a dream

HI guys,
I don´t know if you do remember my call, to follow Carries blog and to be a part of her
 "chasing a big dream" just to make the world a bit nicer and people beeing kind?!


Now, there is something going wrong with Carries blog, so you can´t find her with google and my link doesn´t work, but that is no reason not to follow her idea.
So, yesterday, I started with sending my first message of love into the world and taking a photo of it :-)

That was a car somewhere on the parking lot of "Domäne". There was no other car around so I think the owner was one of the employees there. Hope he/she rejoiced the massage!
